Executive summary
Cialfo is an education tech startup that supports high school students and their counselors throughout the university search and application processes, and to help students explore career options.
Being able to search easily and effectively is a core part of the Cialfo experience, and is an important driver for the continued success of the business. As a designer, my goal was to investigate these frustrations and design solutions that would improve the UX. It was important that the solutions reduce the number of tickets the Customer Success team have to deal with, and increase the level of self-service amongst the student population.
In this project, I look at reorganising the existing filter implementation and introducing other quality of life improvements that makes searching easier.
